x0 Word add-in

A task-pane wizard that signs you into x0 and fills Word with Xero contacts and items: customer / supplier mail merge, Avery address labels, inventory labels, and an item catalogue. Works in Word for Windows and Word for Mac (Office.js).

Install (sideload)

  1. Download x0-word-addin.xml above.
  2. Word → Insert → My Add-ins → Upload My Add-in (or Add from file).
  3. Choose the manifest. A Connect x0 button appears on the Home ribbon.

Source location is /word/addin/taskpane/ (HTTPS required). Same x0 login and API token as the Excel add-in.

  • Customer mail merge — A4 letter, address block + greeting
  • Supplier mail merge — A4 letter for supplier accounts
  • Customer labels — Avery L7160 (3×7 on A4)
  • Inventory labels — Avery L7160 item code / name / price
  • Item catalogue — A4 price list from Xero items

Signed-in downloads: all templates + CSV · customer letter · customers CSV

Desktop Word without the add-in: open a blank template → Mailings → Select Recipients → Use an existing list → the matching CSV. Fields are «ContactName», «AddressBlock», «ItemCode», …
